Episode S3:17: Denise Dull
Denise Dull, Director, Landlord Engagement, Gulf Coast Partnership
“Homelessness is a housing problem.”
Denise Dull is the Director of Landlord Engagement, who recruits, retains, and develops relationships with landlords and property managers to sustain an inventory of housing for our programs. Denise is proud of the fact that although she has not been in her position very long and came with no experience, she has managed to gain the respect of her peers and colleagues. Enough so, that she has been asked to speak by various organizations at national conferences on the topic of housing and landlord relationships. It is the topic of affordable housing for which she is most passionate. Having lived in the community for over twenty-five years, Denise believes that the struggles of working poor and housing are most challenging. Finding creative, forward thinking “outside of the box” solutions to these problems are what she is most passionate about.
Denise holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and is a Certified Property & Casualty Underwriter. Before coming to the Gulf Coast Partnership in 2020, she was employed by Integrity Employee Leasing as their Director of Marketing. She has served as the Past President of the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce and Charlotte County Hospitality Association. She has also served over twenty-five years as Treasurer of the Florida RV Trade Association – Region 1. This year, Denise was elected as President of the Florida International Air Show, the first female President in its forty-three-year history.
When she’s not driving neighborhoods looking for housing, Denise loves to travel with her friends. She enjoys hiking, listening to live music and festivals or catching an Eagles game (even when they lose). But what she enjoys most, is spending time with her beautiful daughter Catherine, and her grand-pups!
