Teri Ashley is the Executive Director of the Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association. Her background includes organizational management, nonprofit advocacy, corporate development and leadership, and multiple tiers of marketing and community relations.

Teri grew up in Everglades City on the far southwest Florida coast. She received her communication degree from the University of Central Florida. Her business focus began during that time with the creation of videos and printed materials highlighting all regions of the state for the Florida Department of Economic Development to present at the opening of Walt Disney World’s Epcot Center.

After living in several states and Europe, Teri has been a Punta Gorda resident for 26 years. She has been actively involved in the business and nonprofit community during this time frame. She has been employed by four publicly traded corporations at the AVP, director, or manager level primarily in the true business development arena. This allowed her to gain a wide variety of significant training in the areas of business growth, change management, conversion and acquisition leadership, marketing, human resources, media relations, data analysis, and social media utilization.

Teri has had extensive experience in all facets of nonprofit agency governance and board involvement with more than 14 Charlotte County organizations.
