Chris was born in Jersey City and grew up in the Tampa Bay Area. Chris joined the Navy in Sept. 2002 and retired in February 2021. He served at many different Naval Commands and Joint Operations Commands giving him the opportunity to visit 18 different countries.

After Chris retired he worked in the Cybersecurity field as a government Contractor. He soon realized that it wasn't for him because couldn't see himself sitting behind a desk all day and not being around like minded people.

Chris wanted to continue to serve his country and give back to the veterans that also sacrificed. He got in contact with Coastline K9 because of the work they do with the Rescue22 Foundation. After meeting with Erick, the owner of Coastline K9 and founder of the Rescue22 Foundation he decided to leave his job as a contractor and start training dogs, specifically, service dogs for veterans with disabilities and Protection K9’s.

What most people don’t realize about Chris is that this career path he chose after service his country for his entire adult life; not only helps other veterans, but he will tell you it saved him, gave him a sense of service again, and a new group of people to work with that he now considers family.
