Renee McKenney, CMP, Executive Director of Sales, Services and Experience Sunseeker Resorts by Allegiant Air

Renee is a 30-year hospitality industry professional with experience in the airline, cruise, destination, hotel and meeting planning industry. Renee started her career in 1988 serving aboard Clipper Cruise Line in the Caribbean and East Coast, and has opened two convention hotels in St. Louis and Dallas.
Renee currently serves as Executive Director of Sales, Services and Experience for Sunseeker Resorts. Prior to that, she served as Vice President of TripEvents and ITS, a Travel Technology Company, Chief Experience Officer for VisitDallas, working for the agency for 9 years. Previously, she has worked for the Walt Disney Company in National Sales, marketing for Southwest Airlines, and as an independent meeting planner for 13 years with HelmsBriscoe.
Renee is passionate about serving her industry giving her time to lead with Industry Boards. She is currently on MPI’s Foundation U.S. Council and leads the newly formed Strategic Partnership Committee. Renee is Past President of the PCMA Gulf States Chapter, served three years on the ASAE Meetings and Events Council, The Board of DFWAE, and has served on two destination customer advisory boards. She chaired the host committee for PCMA in 2010 and ASAE in 2012.
Renee is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, and a native of Dallas. She currently resides in Dallas with her husband Jeff, and is in the process of relocating to the Port Charlotte, Florida area. She has two grown sons, Quillin and Mason, and loves spending time sharing in their college experiences. She loves to travel, exercise, read, and volunteer in her community.
