Debbie Wertz, Executive Director, Desoto County Chamber of Commerce
“Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.”
Debbie Wertz has been the Executive Director for the DeSoto Co Chamber of Commerce for almost 5 years. She is a 4th generation DeSoto County resident. Debbie serves on the EDAC for DeSoto County, member of the Heartland Regional Transportation Planning Organization (HRTPO), Citizens Advisory Council and Board member for DeSoto Co Education Foundation.
Debbie became interested in the DeSoto Co Chamber of Commerce while she attended Leadership DeSoto Class XI. Her passion for that program grew and eventually lead her to the Chamber position. She also serves as Leadership DeSoto Coordinator to the classes each year.
She loves people and her community and wants to see it thrive. DeSoto County is a place where everyone will want to come back to that home town feeling.
