About the Event

The Rescue 22 Foundation received a challenge from an anonymous angel donor to raise money to provide service dogs to veterans. While service dogs are provided to veterans at no cost, it costs between $25,000 and $35,000 to train a dog to meet the task-specific needs of a veteran.

In support of this challenge, the local community in SWFL has stepped up in a big way to support a specific veteran who is in need of a service dog. The Celtic Ray Public House is hosting a fundraising event for their annual “Half Way to St. Patrick's Day” concert. This event will be hosted on September 18, 2021. The disabled veteran will be joining in person to thank everyone who has helped make this possible.

All donations are 100% tax deductible and will be utilized to fund the training, care, equipment and veteran/service dog integration of combat veterans in need.

Donations can be made here.
