Daisy Ojeda, Assistant Vice President of Clinical Operations of Dental for Family Health Centers of Southwest Florida, Inc.

My name is Daisy Ojeda, Assistant Vice President of Clinical Operations of Dental for Family Health Centers of SWFL, since 1996.
Prior to joining Family Health Centers I worked as a DJ for a Spanish radio station in Labelle, FL. After 10 years of being a DJ I got married and decided to follow my passion and begin a career in the health field. I started as a medical receptionist, then on to becoming a phlebotomist after which I moved to the billing department. At the time I transitioned to the Dental Field and attended school in Nova University for Dental Assisting, then became Clinical Operations Director of Dental for Family Health Centers. Some of my responsibilities include supervising and managing 10 offices and the Care Mobile.

Laura Ragain, Executive Director, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida

A native of Detroit, Michigan, Laura is a graduate of Western Michigan University. She began a career in broadcasting in Michigan and her career took her to Paducah, Kentucky where she met and married her husband, Bruce.  It was Bruce’s job transfer that brought them to Southwest Florida 35 years ago.  For several years, Laura continued in broadcasting for both WINK and FOX 4.

She then turned her communications talents to the healthcare world, working for Nemours Children’s Clinic during its partnership with The Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.  When the Nemours partnership ended, Laura continued her commitment to healthcare as a member of the Marketing & Communications team at Lee Memorial Health System.  It was during that time that she first connected with Ronald McDonald House as a member of the Ronald McDonald House Charities Board of Directors.  After 13 months as Communications Director at Hope Hospice, Laura was appointed Executive Director of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida in 2010.

Laura and Bruce live in Fort Myers, FL and enjoy travelling as much as their work schedules will allow. Their son, Sean also lives in Fort Myers.
