Dave Gammon, Director, Charlotte County Economic Development Office

Focus on outcome, not process.
— Dave Gammon

Dave Gammon grew up in Denver, Colorado.  After graduating from Littleton High School, he attended and graduated from the College of Business at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona with a degree in Finance.

As the son of a real estate developer, Dave has been in the real estate industry his entire life.  With his real estate and financial background, Dave’s early career involved analyzing complex data and succinctly creating summary or recommendation packages for any number of audiences including boards of directors, lending committees, potential investment partners, etc.  Dave raised both debt and equity dollars to construct and operate a privately-funded, indoor recreation facility inside a 45,000 square foot bubble structure.

Dave is a proven road warrior as he has spent the majority of his career sourcing investment  opportunities in markets throughout the county.  Dave has lead acquisition on everything from office and industrial buildings to apartments and other residential properties to marinas to hundreds of acres of vacant land to farms to FBO’s to cell towers – basically anything with a financial return or a projected return.  These have been assets ranging from stable income investments to value-add projects to pure speculation deals.

Now as Director with the Charlotte County Economic Development Office, Dave has transitioned those skills into finding new companies/industries interested in relocating to our community.

Married to wife, Susan, with a 20-year old son, Caleb, Dave enjoys many outdoor activities that include trying to hang with an 20-year old son and tennis superstar wife.
